Got the Endura 8 panel Coolmax. Bit of a nappy feel to them when off the bike (I'd imagine that's what nappies feel like that anyway...) but very comfortable on. Not had them for long and haven't been out in them for more than 3 hours but so far so good. Quite cool (temperature wise).

Is it me, or are 'short liners' just effectively lycra shorts?

I always wore lycra, but this week took delivery of my 1st pair of baggies: Endura Hum Vees. The liner is a lycra short with pop studs.

So effectively you are wearing lycra and then casual shorts... Are there better liners out there? maybe just like a boxer short, and not as tight and long as a normal lycra short?

Have a couple of pairs of Endura coolmax ones but never really liked them, get very sweaty.

Much prefer the Craft ones at £20+ from these goodfella's:

I've used the DHB Earnley padded unders for a year now (take them off now again for washing!) A lot comfier than than lycra, 'tis a softer more breathable fabric. Pad's plenty good enough for most riding, and not as nappy-like as some.

They size up pretty tight around the leg grippers (on me - other legs may vary), but never notice once I get riding.

I'll buy again, decent price at £12.99

I think I rec'd those Keva, I wear them when adventure racing as running in a nappy ain't much fun. Never noticed the fact I wasn't wearing padded shorts but of course our arses just might be tougher than most! Not sure I'd want to do the Keider 100 in them and generally wear Endura's for pure riding especially when on the bike for hours.
