With a load of bikes for me and the rest of the family, i seem to have some spare RS airshafts from both 27.5 and 29 Pikes.
I currently have some 27.5 Lyriks that i would like to drop the travel on, to 150 or 160. How can i tell if my spare airshafts are the correct size? Is there a measurement i can compare? Or should i just order a debonair from TFT?

Are there any part numbers on them (etched in) ?
If you put your fork serial number into the RS Trailhead app one of the options displays compatible spare parts - if the airshaft has a part number on it, you should be able to tell what travel it will give you on your fork. If the shaft has no serial number then I can't help sorry!

Lyriks and pikes use different air shafts. They could be made to work I guess. I never tried but SRAM's site/Trailhead isn't going to tell you anything useful on that.
@benpinnick thank you. I didnt realise that pike and Lyrik used dufferent airshaft.
So the i will need new anyway! I shall order.

TF tuned told me the same thing the other week when I asked about travel/spring changes. Apparently not interchangeable
