Was at the dalby xc race recently and noticed that as a few riders free wheeled past their freehub made more of a humming sound as opposed to the clicking you usually get. Sounded like maybe it had a lot of pawls. Anyone know what hub this might have been?

my superstar superleggera has a 120 tooth ratchet mechanism that hums at low speed, whines when I get a shift on.

Did make a nicer sound than my hope one. Though the racket the hopes make are good at getting pedestrians out of your way.
