So it looks like this year's D2D will be a repeat of 2008. So what mud tyre would you recommend? Its for a big wheeler.

People keep saying it's due to be like 2008, but it isn't.
2008 it rained through the whole event, whereas as far as I can see it is due to be dry Fri night, all of Sat daytime and all the way through the race.
The ground will be wet and slippy in places, but it shouldn't be as bad as 2008.
Not sure about big wheel tyres and what are available, but my Conti Edge work quite well in Thetford mud although they are a bit slidey on large roots.
Have fun out of the bombholes on the SS! I reckon it'll be a struggle for me, even with gears!
