So SDG or Kore for the post? Any others?.

I'm also after a blue clamp. Thinking either Hope or one of those Crank Bros split jobbies. Any experiences?

I've got the alloy sdg one with a belair on my cotic. Same comfort as the belair + thomson that was on it before and lighter to boot :D. Bargain with the £60 package deal crc had.

I think Salsa Clamps look and work better than the Hope ones

Thanks guys.
I won't be springing (see what I did there) for a gravity dropper as I don't want the weight or expense. Won't be going carbon either as this post will be going up & down so a standard SDG it is then.

I've always liked the Salsa flip locks, my old soul came with one & it was ace. They're expensive though, even if you can find one in 34.9.

I've got the basic SDG I-beam saddle and post: Dead comfy, cheap and very light but I have broken a couple of the posts (where the post meets the clamp), probably because the I-beam has zero flex compaired to rails and I think this is what knackers the post more quickly
