Hi lads and ladettes 🙂

Anyone know where the cheapest place is to buy 140mm front forks for a Giant Trance X2 please?

Looks like ill be taking off my original Fox forks and replace them with these from what people have advised me... 🙂

Ta.

Ive just had a look and ive seen two types which maybe ok?

http://www.jejamescycles.co.uk/rockshox-revelation-race-item147805.html

and

http://www.evanscycles.com/products/rockshox/sektor-rl-u-turn-maxle-2011-fork-ec024510?utm_source=froogle&utm_medium=froogle&utm_campaign=froogle

I would imagine the Sektors would be better as they have an optional 150mm travel if ever needed?

Depends how much you want to spend. I've just put 140 Sektors on my X4 for £290 from Evans. Nearest Fox is almost £600...... It also came with Poploc remote lockout which helps climbing. Tested at Innerleithen last week and the extra 20mm definitely worth it. Most advice would be not to stretch to 150. Last year's Revs are 140s if you can track some down.

I think slight difference is that Revs are dual air, the sektors are solo....not quite the same level of adjustment but for most riders, me included, there's no effect on performance. But for £290, inckuding the remote lockout switch, you can't go far wrong!

sorry didn't make myself clear - chassis wise they are tehs ame - also the damping. The spring is not (solo rather than dual air yes)

trance x rides better with 140 as opposed to 120mm travel

If they are just an R send them to Mojo to have the Fit cartridges which turn them into a RLC for £250. I should be getting mine back Wednesday 🙂
