shortly getting a road bike so which pedals. ones that dont look too much like MTB pedals..lol.. (dont want those clip in ones ! prefur flatties...
have a look on spa cycles website.
mks touring ones are good.

But really my honest advice would be to embrace the clip ins and get a pair of look keos.
may i ask why you want flat pedals? If you are intending to use toe clips, clipless are safer. If you have a medical reason fine, if it is because you are concerned about being clipped in, don't worry about it, it is much better to be clipped in on a road bike, particularly when climbing.
i just run wellgo mg1 pedals on my road bike. Never had a problem climbing but i've noticed i spin the pedals more than people who are clipped in.
Flats on a road bike, my god you'll be telling us how you intend to ride in your MTB gear and have a camelbak on next - let alone a peak on your helmet ๐ฏ
i ride in normal trousers and a t-shirt with one pannier on the side and sometimes i don't wear any helmet at all! OMG!!!11!

TBH : dont think i wud get on with 'clip ins' not my 'thing' realy..will have alook at the MKS.... ๐
