it seems the crunching on my Road bike is the rear hub bearings. The hub is a three year old Centaur.
Does anyone know what size and how many bearings i need, i think it is cartridges and not loose balls, but it could be both?

My Veloce & Mirage rear hubs take cartridge bearings (The front hubs are old skool cones & loose bearings) So I expect that the Centaur rear hub is probably cartridge bearings.
