Have a BFe with pitch running gear being a gxp crankset. I'd like to upgrade it to something better, preferably shimano, what do I need circa £30?

It's an external bb if that helps

A Shimano bb won't work. You need either a GXP bb or something like a Hope BB with a GXP adaptor.

Ah lame, dislike SRAM stuff. Oh well, I'm not stumping up the extra either just to have hope wrote on it

Gxp bb - actually really good! I was quite suprised coming from a die hard shimano fan
