Early doors jolly to Laggan for me and the lad tomorrow. He's desperate to try his new bouncer on the rocky reds.
Must pack the sun cream!

Decided to try one of those trail centre thingies tomorrow. The one near Pickering. Weather looks cooler there so might help the decision on wearing a helmet or floppy hat.

I'm thinking of heading to Surrey Hills on Sunday although will be sleep deprived as flying back from Turkey Sumday morning, arriving around 5am I think. There's Hurtwood build session of some trails in the morning.

Just moved to London so looking for some new riding buddies. If anyone fancies a ride that's not too far from London let me know!

Nick

Have been talked into doing a randonee near gap tomorrow. The blurb on the website says: very physical, very technical, it will be very hot..... You have been warned! 1300m of climbing for a 35 km course, I think it's going to be hard, especially on the Quasi downhill bike I have with me ๐Ÿ˜•

A 45+ mile and 6000+ ft loop from Horton-in-Ribblesdale yesterday. Am still a bit dry, though drank 10 litres of fluid during the day...

Local loop tonight when it cools down a bit. It's only 15 miles but seeing as I've only ridden my DH bike for the last 7 weeks I just know it's going to finish me off. No riding tomorrow we're going to a grand medieval joust for a family day out (cos I've been neglecting them and riding DH)

Took Friday off work and did a ride around Hope which was excellent.

Don't think I can be bothered with the hassle of getting my bike on a packed train to the Peaks tomorrow though so think I'll just be riding from the door in Manchester to the Roman Lakes and the surrounding areas, Rowarth, Lantern Pike etc and then home again.
