Inspriration needed please!
Sad to say the road bike has been deployed much more than the Trigger of late so need to redress the balance. Road biking just seems like less faff sometimes but feel the need to get offroad again - trouble is the East Mids just bores me and the group of riders I used to ride with has dwindled to bugger all so prob be on my tod too. Where should I go this weekend that will get me in live with my bike again that won't feel like a chore? Prob on Sat with no more than a 2 hour drive from Loughborough...cheers!
Peak district is less than a 2hr drive from Loughborough.
Far more inspiring than most trail centres
Peak District, you can be at Ladybower in 1h 30mins easy.
Go for a bomb round town hit some stair sets and have a look about.
Cannock Chase - always ace.
Depending on the rain this week then the white peak should be running nicely and it's an hour away?
Heading up Ambergate way on Sunday. Been there a few times before but routes are a bit fuzzy.
