[Closed] Where can I get a thin expander bolt for on-one forks

[#6557578]

Just got a set of on-one rigid carbon forks and the steerer tube appears to be just shy of 4mm thick all round, meaning I've only got a hole of 22mm - which means I can't find any of my existing expanders in. Does anybody know of any brands that make small expander bolts at all that'll fit the damn things ?

cheers

I wish - useless. Sold one to me that didn't fit despite promises it would.

Insider diameter I assume, and you mean a star fangled nut?

Look for one that is specifically for a carbon fork. Should do the trick.

Beware OnOne themselves do two carbon fork bungs - they are different sizes.

Plyphon: Inside diameter indeed - and not a star fangled nut, as you really don't want to be putting one of those in a carbon steerer tube. It's a compression/expander bolt.

igm: I'll give that one a go, it's different to what was sold to me, and different to any of my existing ones. It's for the rigid 29er forks though, not the fattys

Woody: Yeah, I've got a pile of them here. None fit. By way of comparison the smallest diameter I can get my KCNC expander down to is 23.3mm, so just won't go in

The £9.99 one is larger diameter, the &14.99 one is smaller.
