I've just done the Torchbearer because (like most there it seemed) I had missed the draw for the daytime 12 hour. Does anyone know when they will start taking entrants for 2016?
It's normally around late Spetember, I think.
If you are on Facebook, like their page as they mentioned something on there about details of 2016 entries being made available soon.

Torchbearer is a more pleasant ride IMO, far fewer people on the course.

I can't believe that was the case this year, considering it was dry until 2am & then absolutely chucked it down until well after the finish of the race! 😆
I'd rather have a bit of 'trail clutter' than the 'sea of mud' tyre riding conditions!
Not untrue, but it might be drier next year!
