Several large Chinese bike schemes have gone bust recently.
These are their bikes in one city.

The waste is just mind boggling. "Bikes for Africa" is obviously not a thing there.

When Mobike launched in Manchester they claimed to be able to manufacture 100000 bikes [b]per day[/b].
Wonder if a couple of zeros got added on there in translation, because that sounds a staggeringly big figure if true.
