So, to cut a long story short, Ive got a creaking noise coming from the front end of my bike. Having checked all the handlebar/stem joints and bolts, I know it's not these creaking. ive also replaced the headset as that was worn. This alleviated some creaking noises. However, I still have this annoying noise coming from what I think is the point at which the spokes cross one another. As if, under braking, the rim flexes (which I assume it does), meaning the spokes are forced to move, thus making a noise. Is this common?
Anybody else had this problem? Theyre dt rims on xt hubs if that makes any difference?

give em a lube?, im sure someone mentioned creaking spokes a while back - and a good lubing seemed to be the way to sort it
