After the last bike you purchased thread, thought I'd start a next bike you'll purchase version!.

Had the Bronson CC for 3.5 years now, nearly time for a change, while I am still able to get a few bob for it.

It'll be replaced by an ebike, either a Trek Rail, Focus Sam or Moustache game. All sold at lbs, so plenty support.

What ye fancy?.

Far too enamoured by my custom Full Suss to even remotely think about changing it a few years on, however, I’ve had the C456 for nearly 10years, has been triggers broom, so it’s time for a change and fingers crossed I’ll have a nearly new Scandal to build up.

Just got my Spur so probably done for a while now, I love my Soul, had it two years but I’m no 29er hard tail curious after sampling the bigger wheels of the Spur. Will have to try a Solaris Max I think, though I would still like a proper steel gravel/adventure bike. Think two bikes is my practical limit.

That said, I did see the new Radon Slide today and it looks lush - not a Woburn friendly shock position though.

Maybe next summer....

Hoping to get a Stooge when the next batch is available. No plans to change my full sus any time soon so I want something different for a second bike.

I've got my Jeffsy pretty much exactly how I want it, aside from a couple of changes that will come in with the frame I've already purchased (Nordest Lacrau Ti Pinion, paid for but delivery not until December) - forks going to the new frame and new Mezzer pros on the Jeffsy, and a 200mm Reverb AXS to share between both bikes, if they ever sodding release one! Honestly don't think I'll be changing it any time soon.

However, if I did buy something new, it would be a Forbidden Druid. Or a Deviate Highlander. Or a Zerode something if I love the Pinion and want another... 😀

I love the idea of the new stumpjumper, mainly as the SWAT box is such an innovative feature. The reviews are a bit mixed and the graphic design is awful.

So I’ll stick with my occam. Might by some carbon wheels, bars, lighter camelbak or try and go bagless.

I love my Cotic Rocket, but find myself getting itchy pedals for some reason.

I love steel bikes, largely for aesthetic reasons but there isn't much to tempt me over the edge out there seemingly.

Always fancied a Starling.  🤔

The plan this year was something road and or gravel - currently on hold as I can't really get out and ride much at the moment. Also the obligatory job / wage uncertainty that goes with 2020.

Ducati Multistrada V4S... Deposit paid, just gotta wait til Feb/March now! 😁

Oh you meant pedal bike... Erm... Massively tempted by a Gemeomtron G1 frame following a test ride a few months ago, but the realisation that I'd use it even less than I do my current Evil has set in. There still isn't an eBike on the market that I'd happily open my wallet for, so will keep waiting in that respect (though could well be tempted by the Privateer E-161 based on what I've seen so far of their prototype!). Really should sort out a "proper" winter road bike, but just not enthused about riding something that whilst it keeps my arse dry, saps the (little there is) fun out of riding otherwise! And not tempted to try a hardtail again any time soon, have kinda fallen out with them in general so... I dunno to be honest!

Tempted by an electrical gravel bike from Ribble on C2W. I like the lowish power/longish range stealthy ethos.

My 2015 Fuel EX is my oldest bike and due to be changed as the proprietary shock is wearing out and the parts are no longer available. Looking at a few 29ers and he Canyon Neuron is the front runner currently but as I'm currently an unemployed bum I can't get it until I know how much of my savings are available. Hopefully I can get a top spec bike as it's my 40th in a few weeks so trying to keep the savings pot as high as possible!

I paid the deposit for a Sonder Broken Road last week.
Frame isn’t scheduled for delivery until December so not sure if I’ll get it this year.

Immediate: Chinese carbon hardtail frame finally arriving next week.

FS currently for sale, going to save over winter and really like the look of YT Izzo or
similar shorter travel 29er trail bikes.

You're joking! I rang them last week to ask if they were aware of delays etc. or whether they were due on time n he was really confident that they were arriving!!

I tend to wait until one of the current ones breaks before starting to think about the next one, that would be tempting fate way too much for me!

Hopefully paying the remaining balance on the Banshee Phantom frame on Friday 🙂

Then it's just a case of building it and selling on my Trek Slash frameset and fork I guess...

Really fancy a winter road/gravel bike. The latest Nukeproof Digger Comp looks amazing value at £1599, but i can't bring myself to order one for some reason!

Possibly a Genesis Cox De Fer, but that will push the budget a bit.

Some electric hub geared monstrosity.

A 2021 model,and with the aesthetics of a 1970's Raleigh shopper.

Including the basket 😯 😯

This one. Frame turned up Friday, swapped everything over yesterday, just bled the brakes and went for a quick spin round town.

I have been fortunately able to buy a few bikes recently. I got a Fugio 30 back in May, and then later in the summer a couple of ebikes; a Levo SL followed by a Creo. The ebikes have been transformational for me, given that I have a few heart issues.

I do have a basic alloy winter road bike on order..

though I really need to sell my Croix de Fer first..

Money no object I think I'd have a Transition Spur, built light, to do everything on. As I'm trying to save however, I'll probably just plump for some new wheels and tyres for my Cotic Flare.

Bought a Merlin gravel bike in the summer, already fancy swapping the frame for something steel...

@Shred, it'll be worth the wait, you'll love it! Have you gone full build or frame only?

I would honestly be disowned by my family if I had any more bikes (6 + motorbike at the moment) but I really really fancy a cheapo 2nd hand Kona Stinky or similar to see if I have the balls to do any big downhill type riding.

@lawman91, I ordered a X01 build, but am asking if I can change to frame only to build up with Shimano XT and my own wheels.

Currently loving my trailbike 140/130 27.5, and hardtail 130mm 29er. Both are excellent, they have their different uses with a bit of overlap.

Something in me yearns for a big travel bruiser more suited for downhilling, alps etc. Limited to 2 bikes by storage space (and the reality of how often they would get ridden) more than money; although the reality is that now I've become accustomed to nice brakes and suspension wheels and so on I'd be looking at £4k plus for something I'd like, and may not get a lot of use...

This feeling usually comes when watching some racing on TV, Then I actually go ride one of my bikes and love it and cant see myself parting with either.

Nice! Hope they have stock due of the frame or the due date could slip back a long way, I've heard new orders are close to February/March or even later.

Maybe a replacement for my planet X London road. It's my do it all bike but in commuting mode I am unable to put both a rack and guards on as the thread in on of the mounting points has gone. I might be able to get it sized up to take a bigger screw but there's not a lot of material there to play with. It also needs a couple of new riv nuts on the seat stats for the rack as well. All fixable I'm sure but it's 5 years old with 5 year old components. Thinking of biting the bullet and getting one of these as a replacement. Seems pretty good spec for the money with the only competition the (admittedly cheaper) Boardman ADV but I think the slightly better spec and looks justify the extra.

Raaw Madonna mk2 would be my choice of second bike (to compliment my Norco optic).

But equally I know it would be overkill for 99% of my riding.

Would look good in the garage tho….

Currently on a search for a disk road bike, I've never had a "posh" road Bike so am pushing the boat out a little.   Currently deciding on two:

a) Scott Addict RC 30, standard spec and saving later for a nice pair of carbon wheels later.  The sensible choice.

b) Bianchi Oltre XR3, I found a shop which will negotiate a pair of FFW 50's bringing it to the same - albeit more immediate - price of the Scott + wheels.    This is the less sensible choice but well, Celeste and Countervail.

Just bought a Giant TCR Advanced 1 road bike so will be a few years yet before I get another.

When I do I will likely be mid-40's so have vague plan to buy some kind of Specialized Roubaix after 5-6 years of being battered by the TCR.

On the original thread I advised I’d ordered a Sonder Camino GRX back the start of July.

Spoke to Neil at Sonder today, he tells me the bike is currently being built, woohoo!

So, a Sonder Camino GRX end of the week (or start of next)... 🤪

If the Cycle solutions website ever gets any stock in I'll be looking to pick up an Orange hardtail either the Crush or the P7, quite like the look of the Crush MX. Have to use Cycle Solutions for bike to work scheme.

Looking to change my frame on the main bike, was weighing up the 2020 Enduro vs The Raaw Madonna V2, but that stumpjumper evo has caught my attention as a complete, it'll suit a larger portion of my riding more I think and be more playful then the two frames I am looking at which are essentially ploughing wagons...

New Stumpy Evo. Should be imminent

@Hob-nob be interested to hear your thoughts when yours arrives

Looking at the Trek Supercaliber. I’m transitioning from road to off road. My gravel bike (a Cannondale Slate) is pretty good off road but something a bit more beefy would be nice. Will be used for riding around natural trails in Deeside (Ballater) and Speyside (Cairngorms) and future bikepacking trips. My knowledge of mountain bikes is not great so it’s a steep learning curve for me.

Waiting for insurance money to arrive any day now, then I'm looking at buying:

A nice steel 29er hardtail
