so you're a youngster then stoney? ๐
my Specialised Tricross is called Clint as it is the bike with no name...
The GT Avalanche is simply the GT
And the Cove Stiffee is the Cove, unless I'm in public when I can be found bragging how good my stiffee is...
I do however individually name all the cans of food in my cupboard.
but everyone does that, right?
Are you older than me Witerfold โ

My Santa Cruz Chameleon I call (somewhat unimaginatively) Cammie. Took her to the Alps last year and cheated on her with a full suss. Left her at the chalet while I went out all day with the Spanish escort (Mondraker). Cammie still hasn't forgiven me.
Fancy cheating on your ride โ โ โ

I name most things. My bike is called Bertie, the old camper was called Gertie and the new camper is called Suzie.
The cat's having names / not coming thing is absolutely true.
Of those bikes that have 'names', other than manufacturer/model I have:
Rupert
Sebastian
Miffy ... ๐ (probably, it's only a week old).
Mr Naughty (it's a trials bike and it never does what you'd want it to)
I've had (and retired):
Duncan
Britney
My truck is called Heidi, for no other reason that there is no reason (to call a truck anything, quite aside from calling it Heidi).
I name things because it amuses me, and annoys (some) people.
