So just received some 2.25 NNic Evos through the post from Evans. Good stuff.
Except these are the Evo 'Snakeskin' ones. Not [i]exactly[/i] what I ordered, but nevermind.. 🙄
Inflating them up side-by-side with some standard 2.25 NNic Evos bought from One-One 5 months ago is quite a shock.
The newer Snakeskin ones are very (horribly) narrow!
I've measured them up:
Standard Evos come to about 2.25"
Snakeskin versions are more like 2.1" 😯
Is this typical for Nobby Nics now? Or is it just with the Snakeskin ones?
(And... where can I source Standard N-Nic 2.25 Evos from that won't cost the earth, or have silver stripes running round the outside?)
I just got a 2.1 NN with snakeskin from merlin and it's much much narrower than my other 2.1 schwalbes.
Merlin are doing an extra 15% off at the mo- so with a 10% vip that means a 2.25 NN evo for £29 delivered.
