never gets [i]that[/i] muddy due to all the chalk but can certainly be very slippery 😀

based on the deluge we've just had, it'll be slippery. Mud is never that bad. Bring a sense of humour.

Was very slippery last night, but has since rained a bit last night and again this morning, so yeah will probably be leathally slippery.

given the forecast, I envisage a day like the 2010 big dog - very muddy (esp on the otherside of the A27) and slippy. but no great difference from previous years.
Looking forward to it! (as Jim_kirk said, please bring humour. it's only bikes)
