My road bike's been gathering spiders in the shed for a couple of years so It's probably going to move to a new home. Mechanically it's great, condition wise it's got the usual 'patina' from being stored in the shed and ridden about, so is £250 fair or would £200 be nearer the mark? Pic was taken when it was pretty new, I reckon it's about 4 years old.
Planet X Superlight team frame.
Fulcrum 5 Evo wheels, (a decent upgrade)
Tiagra gear set.
Spoon saddle, the Titanium railed one.
Planet X own brand finishing kit.
What size is it 😉
I reckon you'd get a bit more then that actually. However I won't state how much more until you offer an apology.
Medium, but I think there's already a buyer, (making a rash assumption what you were driving at!!)
@realman OK, I'm flagellating myself right now for asking a dull question. 😀
What size is it? or alternatively how tall are you? My brother in law is after a road bike and I'm trying to persuade him to buy something 2nd hand and decent rather than a halfords special!
Price wise I'd say you're way too high.... 😉
but seriously I think it'd depend on condition and how much life's left in the drivetrain.
Drop me a PM with some details? 🙂
Yes your right, however too small, shame, and I think £250 is pretty cheap, depending on how much of the 'patina' is rust 😀
Ok, definitely interested if it's a medium, drop me an email
That much ?! Well thanks for the fast replies, and Tiboy I offered it to my cousin as he was also asking me about a cheap new road bike, so if he's not interested I'll message you.
Cheers LoCo.
Ta!
