[#1455262]

Riding in Woburn today and was amazed at the number of branches randomly strewn around some of the trails. It looks deliberate and could be really dangerous, especially if night riding. If this is members of the non-riding fraternity I assume they realise that if someone was injured by their stupidity, a) it will be on their conscience for a long time and b) they are probably committing a criminal offence.

One lives in hope of catching someone in the act!

OMG no comments - are the Woburn posse all lying around the woods having fallen fowl of the booby traps?

I've seen lots of this stuff too recently - I clear it when I see it. But I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle.

I'm sure they want to injure us, it's the way that small minded tories think.

Happens all the time where I ride. Just clear it and move along.

Yep been going on a while now, looks a bloody mess too. I just ride some stuff, some just disintigrates and other bits I launch into the distance.
We ain't going anywhere and what tickles me is that some of it is done on legit trails. The other thing to remember is that a lot of Woburn is plantation and someday our minor wear and tear to the land will be obliterated by heavy plant cutting it all down. As already carried out in neighbouring Stockgrove and the land across the road from Woburn.
I like to think the guy laying the branches was red in the face and a borderline heart attack waiting to happen, on the whole everyone is pretty pleasant,
Stand your ground.
