I presently have an Orbea as a winter bike but am looking for something that will take panniers (carbon rear triangle so no options there)

So any suggesting for frames which will take mudguards and panniers ? Possibly Ti if they aren't too expensive (say £600 ?)

I shall avoid - luckily it doesn't have bosses for a pannier, otherwise I would ....... Nice bit of kit, I wonder what the budget was

I've got a Van Nic Yukon which can take mudguards and panniers. Looks like the frame itself is £1k from Van Nic direct but I got my whole bike for less than that new so there must be deals around.

Ti is ace for commuting and if i ever bothered to clean it it would polish up splendidly. Really do think it is a bike for life!

I think On One are producing a more road-friendly version of the Pickenflick in the near future.

Or hunt down an original Ti 'cross. this is mine:

Spa Cycles own Ti audax or tourer, just over your budget.

Also available in steel below your budget.

Having just realised who the OP is, stuff the budget and pre-order a Sabbath Silk Road Disc. Because you're worth it!

(and whatever you get, if you hate it, it will be in my size)

Seriously, if you don't want to buy a whole bike, look at tbe Spa frames. Chris and Ian both swear by them, very helpful if you can get up there.
