I am currently building a Cotic BFE and am stuck on what wheels to fit.Bearing in mind the use that this bike is designed for and that I am not a small chap (100kgs ish) what wheels would people reccomend? I hve looked at several and am thinking of, #1 Hope hubs with Stans flow EX rims.#2 Hope hubs with Mavic EN521 rims or #3 Spank Spike 28 race wheelset.I am also open to suggestions that I have not considered. I ride mainly in the peaks with the odd trail centre jaunt.
STW favourite is flow ex on hopes
To be fair, any of those will probably do - stans then spank would be my preference purely for the width of the rims
EDIT. I haven't ridden either rim but have ridden hope hubs and most rims will be more than strong enough for you with a decent build. Just look at Road Party 2 video for proof
