Actually, I think he's spot on.

*Short range only, but target is not high up.
*Free ammo.
*No issue with the ammo falling back to earth.
*Can be made at home.

Yep, that's a great answer.

Second for bolas. Made one as a youth from three moderately heavy nuts and some fishing line. About five minutes assembly time and cost effective.

Big fall out with mate when a long range shot aimed at his legs ended up sailing round his neck. Those nuts accelerated amazingly fast when it wrapped....

Bottle rockets. You may not hit the drone but it'd be fun trying.

If the drone is going to be used to case your house for theft, I'll be flying low enough for a high powered catapult, stones are plentiful, free and cannot be traced back to the sniper ๐Ÿ™‚

One of those Black Widow catapults and a bag of ball bearings.

If close enough, a pile of water bombs.

Air rifle or 12 bore, if the pellet/shot leaves your property you're in the shit.Anything air powered over 12lb/ft will need a firearms cert so your drone operator will be chortling as you start your five stretch. I'd just get by pressure washer out and squirt it down. Either the pressure or the moisture will knacker it and you don't need to worry about being that precise.

Set off a rumour amongst the local neds/scrotes how much a drone is worth at cash convertors or any other fine emporium and sit back and watch the superior hand eye co-ordination, reflexes and raw desire of an extra few quid drive them into a feeding frenzy for any drones in the air or grounded.

Do B&Q sell tins of Stealth Paint that it would be possible to use and make your house dissappear ?

Good for that "Nothing to see here" line ...

Splurge Gun. Even if you miss it's still has an opportunity for comic effect if one of your neighbours is in the firing line.
