I'm thinking of going to tubeless on my alpine 160 but not sure what kind to go for.

Not UST, heavy and expensive.

Schwalbe Tubeless Ready in your chosen tread pattern for my money.

What's the difference?

Weight. Extra rubber thickness , especially in the sidewall.
UST has its value at times (depending on you rims), but for the majority of cases TR is lighter, cheaper and "good enough"

I like those specialized 2bliss ones. seem to work well and not too heavy on the pocket.

Do u use the racing Ralph? What are they like compared to high rollers?

I'm more of the XC persuasion. Like Racing Ralphs, if I was after a fatter tyre they'd be what I'd use. Not much cop in the mud, but a good '3-season' tyre IMO.

Not used High Rollers.

Both the nobby nic and racing ralph are fairly different from a high roller and 2.4s will be substantially bigger.

I'd take a look at specialized's clutch control. I had the SX version a while ago and it's insanely grippy, reasonably light (c.700g) and not too draggy.

FTFY.

If I'd have wanted to write that I would. Fix your own posts.

Ooo, calm down love.

UST tyres offer a slightly stiffer carcass.

They are heavier and more expensive, with less (ie negligible) puncture protection. How are they only 'good enough' compared to lighter, cheaper, more puncture resistant tubeless ready tyres? Genuine question.

What are the none snakeskin / double defence but TLR RRs like?

May get me a pair but I recall people saying that with Schwalbe TLRs unless they're Snakeskin the sidewalls break.
