I have a choice of Bonty Mud X or XR4 Team Issue.
Checking the weather, I'd be better off with a canoe but I wondered if the Twrch gets muddy enough for mud tyres. I'll expect the usual STW differing opinions, mostly from people that have never ridden there in the rain. However, if there are any locals on here your advice would be much appreciated.

I use crossmarks all year around at cwmcarn
Any tyres will do. It doesn't get muddy as such, but does get more grippy when it's wet as the trail is made up of a lot of sand.
Look out for the skin and blood I left behind last Wednesday evening on the last but one descent 🙁

It's a trail centre, you don't need mud tyres!

I ride there regularly, and concur with the "crossmarks all year" comment. Except in the snow/ice...
