I was trying out a newly-built wheelset on the Amazon today and fitted these 1.75" Marathon Mondials that I'd previously used on the 29er.

They went in OK and gave a very comfy ride. However, they were struggling on the muddier tracks. Any recommendations for something in the 700*40-45 bracket?
And the wheelset? Nothing broke so the next test involves connecting up the dynamo and trying the Revo light.
