I've been running Avid Juicy 7s, and have been happy with them, but am looking for something with a bit more grunt now. I've used the 08 XTs in the past and found them a faff with the front losing power, that's when I went to the 7s. I've tried a bike recently with SLXs on though that really impressed me, tempting me back to the Shimano fold.
So stick with Avid and go to Elixirs, try SLX or even Saint for massive stopping power - something from Hope?
Thoughts and opinions please?
My Hope Tech M4's are awesome and another level over my old Juicy 5's. They look fantastic too.

Elixirs or SLX see which you prefer the feel of.
Elixir's are a step above Juicy's in the power department. If you have the bleed kit already then sticking with Avid you shouldn't be disappointed.
I'm very happy indeed with my SLX.
