[#4583576]

I want some nice road wheels for next year and going for on eo the ebay (288g) hubs njee has pointed out.

[img] [/img]

i've got these stats from the listing

Front hub PCD: 29mm
Front hub Center to Flange: 33.5mm
Rear:
PCD: Right:49.5mm / Left= 38.5mm
Center to Flange: Right :16.5mm / Left :38mm.

Does anyone know what spoke lengths I need? I looked at the wheelpro spoke calc

http://www.wheelpro.co.uk/spokecalc/ but wanted to double check before i order

Think i'm going to go for a 24/24 set up as i've heard the alpha 340's can be a bit flexi

i can't help you with spoke length but i can tell you that alpha 340's are flexi, even the 24hole but they are light!!!!

friend of mine went with the 20/24 and chris king hubs. He said that there are new alphas that are slightly heavier and less flexi

Thisisnotaspoon built up that combo, although I think he went 20/24 - hopefully he'll be along to advise.

Good choice though, if I change my PowerTap a couple of sets of those will be on order!

I went 24/28, still flexy both in terms of dulling power output and 'woahhhh wTF' cornering (but then I'm 95kg).

I used whatever the DT caluclator told me and they were fine.

i'm 68kg but i still don't want a flexi wheelset really

Were you using the new alphas that are slightly heavier?

Were you using the same hubs as i've shown above as i'm confused what to enter into the spoke calculator
