Do you mean the cable clamp bolt or the mounting band clamp bolt? What model mech?

bugger, forgot to look this morning, will take a butchers this afternoon...
Do you have access to a stash of bolts or will you be ordering one? From memory I think they're an M6. Not sure on length though...

both my xt mechs use m6 x 20

Yep, both mech cable and band clamp bolts are M6, 20mm will do the clamp, probably want shorter on the cable pinch, doesn't need to be long at all.
