Looking at changing the seat clamp on My Rockhopper but the old clamp doesn't have a size stamped on it.
I assume they all take the same size (based on a 30.9 seatpost). I rang a local dealer today who didn't know but measured a 2010 bike at 34.8mm.
I have a spare 34.9mm clamp so would such a small difference matter as it clamps in to the correct size anyway?

IMHO a 34.9mm would be fine on 34.8.
