Just a quickie really, I'm 6ft ride a 18 inch five, just wondered what length people have gone for? Safe bet is 420mm buti can get a 380mm much cheaper with 125 mm drop?

So can I get away with a 380 or safer just stumping up the extra for 420?

Cheers

You really need to measure it against your current seatpost - ie, how much have you got in the seat tube? How much post have you got showing? - all when it's fully extended at your optimum pedalling height.

FWIW I have a 17" Five, I'm 5'8" and I went for the 380mm with a 125mm drop.

What is your leg length? Our frames are the same size really (bar standover height).

If your current post is 380mm and has sufficient insertion then so will the Reverb - or not as the case may be!

You need to check the current exposed seat post height from the seat post collar and then compare that to the usable length ( min insertion to rail height) on the Reverb.

Assume your Five's new enough to take a Reverb? Not sure what year they made the seat tube wide enough (30.x mm or whatever it is)
