won't fall to bits when dealing with Dot4? (and other bike chemicals but dot4 strikes me as being the nastiest going.)

I'll be honest first lot I bought were great, next lot useless - both random Ebay purchases, wondering if there is a specific thing I should be looking for.

Ta muchly.

use nitrile - you can develop latex allergy by using latex gloves.

use nitrile - you can develop latex allergy by using latex gloves.

You would need to be wearing Latex gloves a lot more often than a bit of bike maintenance to develop an allergy.

You would really need to be wearing them all day, constantly, for a good number of years to be at any risk.

I wear them maybe 5 or six times a day for half an hour or so at a time and haven't had any issues.

The cheapest nitrile gloves you can buy. Try Screwfix and the like. I just borrow them from work

I've just tried a few sets of proper surgery ones, even come separately wrapped & preformed for each hand. Still ripped on my fork dials though.

Nitrile with latex on top... especially when working with resins. When latex get resiny or oily put new ones on, and you are still protected underneath with the nitriles
