Local spesh dealer doesn't appear to want to offer much help to a friend of mine so wonder if you lot would be of assistance.
The headset appears to be reamed for a 1 1/8" straight steerer with space for integral bearings. Can anyone confirm what type of headset it actually needs? Seems to be a minefield out there with different size bearing etc!
Also the front mech. It has the bolt holes for a direct mount mech but my last Enduro needed an adapter to fit a mech yet my friends stumpy managed to have a direct mount with no adapter. Any ideas on that one?

Pretty sure the headset will use campag style 45x45 1 1/8" bearings
And iirc, the front mech is an e-type with the mounting plate removed.
Thanks, so the mech is a simply bolt on then, my Enduro was an e type without the plate but it needed an adapter too.
I'll check out the headset too, cheers.
