Yep, maybe a typo? Also exaggerates the amount of climbing. Coincidentally the map of Blade also claims 795m of dringo too.
Pretty sure there aren't any "Top of the Grade" signs on the trail either.
Right, I'm off to complain about the misuse of apostrophes on local retail signage....
I'm with T/S- that doesn't look like 24km to me.
I once decided that there was no way that the Syffydrin trail could possibly be 35km long. It is. I was tired and thirsty and finished in the dark. Grrr.
I rode it a week ago and clocked 15.5K so +/- 10% to allow for inaccurate garmin but its certainly not 24K. Also recorded ~500m of climbing.
^^^ if you're going to publish maps, they ought to be accurate, but maybe better to exaggerate if not?!
I'm pretty certain the sign at the start of the trail says 530m climbing, so the above seems like a strange mistake!

There's a more accurate version of that map now, easy enough to find online. 15k, 500m or so of climbing. I was very disappointed to find it as I thought I'd done the 24k in 1 hour 40.
