[#3187360]

Been asked to recommend one.. a C'dale 1.5 compatible one for use with a 1 1/8 fork. Integral/integrate upper and traditional lower...

I've only ever used C'dale's own or onepointfive headets so this is a new one to me..
The cane creek site guide has confused the hell out of me, as I have no idea of the headset measurements, or the simply don't match the 1.56" measurement I have as a basic guide.

The hope site guide is more useful but trying to locate the part on CRC is melting my brain (they seemingly don't use the same reference numbers)

I believe he needs a for the upper:
HOPE : 4
S.H.I.S. : ZS49/28.6
1 1/8” Integral

Lower:
HOPE : F
S.H.I.S. : EC49/40
1.5” Traditional

and a reducer (for the lower):
HOPE : HS136
1 1/8” to 1.5” lower steerer crown converter

Can anyone confirm this?

Or can anyone just recommend a decent (not earth shattering price) reducer headset for c'dale? (integral top, external lower)

Though I suppose the top doesn't have to be integral, just the lower needs to be external for the stack height, so maybe a FSA Big Fat Pig Reducer Headset would do the job?

Or are there any other headset guides that could help us out?

I think its a Cane Creek Double XC that you need. I thought about getting one to stick a 1 1/8 fork on my SuperV, though this was a while ago.
You could try asking on the cannondale forums on MTBR?

TBH the question came from an MTBR user, he can't have had any luck on there..

The best one I could find was a Cane Creek 1.5ZSR.
Got it from Noah's Ark for about £50. C'dale headsets are a nightmare though! Good luck.
That was for my Jekyll btw - 1.5 headtube and 1/18 forks.
