Gusset do mix and match headsets that are really good value and work well:

You just choose a 1 1/8" for the top and a tapered to 1 1/8th for the bottom. If you can't find them online most LBSs can order as they distributed by ID who most shops deal with.

Just got a Gusset 44-40 lower cup from wiggle, they've got lots in stock it seems. Cheaper than Gusset website, see how it holds up!

you could just buy the hope adapter that converts the bottom of your steerer to 1.5" and then you fit the existing crown race to it.
