Now I can't believe I'm asking this but... Seeing as my new bike is starting to look like it might be quite well colour coordinated, I suppose I better try and contiune the theme...
So... What grips to buy in Orange?
I'm used to and like the ODI Rogues, which are pretty fat. I'm not a thin grip fan, so want something as chunky, or certainly almost as chunky as the Rogue. I've looked around and seen lots of thin grips like the Ruffian's around in Orange, but they're way too thin for me. So what's out there, quite chunky, and Orange?
Superstar?
Superstar ones are canny but ive taken mine off after 5 months - they have gone very smooth and are a bit knackered. Mind I've been riding 3 times a week.
Just ordered some lizard skins peaty ones to replace them with - and not white this time.
Why not stick with Rogues and go for Orange clamps
Oury old skool chunky orange?
I run ESI Grips on all my bikes now and really rate them.
They do a chunky grip and you can get them in loads of colours, including Orange 8)
I get mine off Ebay from a seller called truckerco.
They work out to be £10.73 + 4 dollars postage
Fast postage and I've never been stung for any extra vat or duties.
Superstar?
WAY too thin... They're just like ODI Ruffians

Wasn't aware they did Orange clamps, but now I am I may consider. Only problem I can see there though is the orange clamps getting scratched very quickly, as would any colour except the silver clamps I run now... Would prefer Orange grips.

Had a pair on my 29er, decided they're too fat (yup, they are that fat!), too narrow (need to be 20mm wider really) and I don't like the flange on the outside end as I often rest my palms right on the end of the grips.

No chance, my grips are gonna be made of rubber, and of the lock on variety! Those silicone grips scare me...
ODI Troy Lee? Mind you none of the selections look like they'd suit an orange bike!

Bike isn't orange, but I want an orange grip to match some of the other details going on it... It's only minor I know, I'll probably end up just slinging my old ODI Rogues on, but still...
Ragley grips? Although looking at them they're a little thinner than Rogues so maybe no good.

Cheers rickos, had thought about the Ragleys, the look good but again don't look very thick.
Have just seen these Raceface Strafes...
Anybody used them? They do look massively thick though, possibly too thick, or at least thicker than my ODI Rogues?
ESI grips I find good, providing you wear full finger gloves. If you go bare handed or have fingerless gloves in the wet they're slippy as hell, which can be a bit off putting.
A bit off putting? Hah! Understatement of the day.
