It's finally time to retire my old ODI Rogues after what I think is 15+ years of use, I've had my money's worth out of them and now they're a bit too slick from all the wear 🙂 what I like about the Rogues is the vibration damping and consistent pattern - not sure if I will get on with something with specific sections to put your finger tips on etc as it would drive me insane if they don't quite line up etc. I also tend to hold my grips right at the outside so a consistent pattern seems better so they don't need to be held in a certain way. I think that means Peatys and Deathgrips are out but maybe it's not as bad as I'm expecting.
I want to try something a bit slimmer than the 33.5mm of the Rogue, 32mm seems like it might be a good place to start. Also I mostly ride gloveless so needs to be comfy and grippy enough for that.
ODI Vanquish are a little smaller and specifically target vibration damping apparently. Not cheap, but you seem to get bang for your buck with grips.

Tbh I didn't ride much when my kids were little so that probably accounts for some of the extra time they've had! So long as they don't start falling apart straight away I don't mind a bit less hard wearing.
I swear by Ergon GDH grips. I have them on all my bikes. No idea if that's helpful info to your specific requirements though.
Lizard skins Oury grips are 32mm. I use the push in version as there's more rubber, less plastic like lock one so better damping
+1 for Ergon GDH - I put these (GDH Team) on my son's DH bike and he really likes them. Generally he rides with no gloves (or, if he has to, as thin as he can get away with) and he's also really picky when it comes to grips.
I really like the ODI Float, it's a slipon though not a lockon. Basically an elastomer foam so it's quite squishy, nice under the hand imo. 31.5mm IIRC. And completely plain/round.
ODI Reflex on both my bikes and they work for me after using death grips for a while . The ODIs definitely last longer than death grips .
I've been on ESI Chunkys for a years now and love them with or without gloves, they are 32mm. They push on with IPA and never budge.
They are expensive for foam but as long as you buy something to protect the ends, I use Gusset end caps, they seem to last forever.
I need to swap my shifter soon so they are coming off and I'm going to try Gusset Sleeper's on Ben's recommendation but could easily end up back on Chunky's.
One negative, if you ride gloveless they do make your hand a bit grubby but I spend at least half my time fixing up trails so I'm always grubby!

I like the PNW Loam grips I have on my Stanton, but I may have read these don't last that long either

You might want to check out the ODI Floats, I was a huge ESI fan but never happy with their wet feel or how easy they are to tear up, the ODIs aren't quite as soft/squeezy but they're otherwise pretty similiar except without the drawbacks.
I've been on Ergon GDH for a while and liked them, but just tried the GDH slim and they are my goldilocks grip, the regulars were just that bit too thick for me, slim are perfect
Thanks all, I'd forgot about Deity doing grips! Might try their Lockjaw as a starting point - 32mm, cheap enough and seem to get universally good reviews.
I love the PNW Loam but they really don't hold up well to damage. If you ride in the woods or have a habit of taking unscheduled naps they will need replacing really quickly.
Gave Peatys mushroom a go - really good and the ends seem a bit tougher when I invariably tap a tree. I got them virtually on release day and the top of the mushroom is wearing a bit thin now. Might give the new Pro a go.
First proper ride with the Lockjaw grips today and not sure if I like them. I don't know if it's the thinner diameter, pattern or just not being as squishy as the Rogues, but I felt like I was gripping on tighter and now my knuckle joints are aching. Which IIRC was the reason I originally switched to Rogues in the first place. I'll give it a few more rides but could be back to the drawing board on this.
Might try the Ergon GDH Team but as they're the same diameter I'm not sure. Might just go back to the Rogues after all.
