I want a tyre for my cx bike to go explore paths, canals, urban trails, bridalways, regular mtb trails.
Most cx tires don't have protection.
I have used land cruisers in the past. Which are very durable but also super heavy.
What are people using for the 3peaks these days
Been thinking of riding up to the lakes and then through the lakes on trails.
No more than about 34mm. Not tubeless
I used WTB Cross Boss 35c tubeless for last year's 3 Peaks.
G-Ones could be worth a look.
Went with the new 35mm smart Sam's...looking at the website they look better than land cruisers in every area
I too used 35mm Smart Sams at the 3 Peak, were just fine and dandy
I hope the new ones are the ones that arrive, I ordered new 35s and old 40s arrived! Good news is that 40s actually have a lot more clearance than I though, but I liked the look of the new tread
