[Closed] What FS bike for my daughter?

I’m out of the bike buying loop when it comes to FS bikes. My daughter is looking for a FS bike with a budget of £2000 max (but would prefer to spend less, so perhaps the £1000-£1500 point is better). Her point of reference is her mothers Boardman FS Pro or whatever it’s called. She definitely wants FS but beyond that the criteria is an “all rounder” so not a DH bike or anything. A trail bike, I suppose.

So, I’m looking for a few ideas. She’s 19 but a shortarse.

Right at the top of the budget but that sort of cash would buy your daughter a new canyon spectral.

How short/tall?

Married to a shorty, I can confirm that sizing can be really difficult. A cm in the geometry to someone 150cm tall is 'greater' difference than a cm to someone 180cm tall. Princess and pea time.

Small in stock. £1100 so enough for a dropper post.

That spectral is a great shout - tried one out this weekend, its an all-rounder for sure, but one that's good to go out of the box, and wont mind getting rowdy if required.

Pleased to say she’s looking at Birds now, but my goodness their website is crap these days.
