OK looking for some new forks for my 456. Currently have Rockshox Tora 302's which are U-turn. Generally I gradually upgrade everything on my bike slowly and it is time for the forks now. I only ever ride on the 130mm setting so am looking for somewhere between 130 and 150mm travel, air sprung. So far the best deals seem to be on Merlin for either the 2012 Rockshox Rev RL (with 15mm axle) or RLT with 15mm axle. Price difference between the 2 is only £20. Top end budget is just over £300 (The RLT just sneak in with the 10% VIP discount as they will be £315.

£315 for a £600 pair of forks seems pretty good to me

I'm thinking along these lines too. What's the difference between RL and RLT? Anyone know if the new Motion Control DNA is as good as Blackbox?

RCT3 is the Blackbox replacement apparently, so follows that the DNA is the STD Moco replacement.

robbo, either set of Rev's sound the way to go, and are great forks.

greeble nope I believe the RTL is not Ti spring as std, merlin have the RTL Ti (dual position admittedly) version still for sale @ 689 (excluding discount)

RLT - (old Race) standard MoCo, & external floodgate
RLT Ti - (old Team) Ti Blackbox, dual flow rebound assembly, lighter and perform alot better

PS: The RLT Ti are rather lovely though... well my Team ones are anyways.
