Having recently thrown my leg over the 2010 5 again I fancy a dropper post and am not too sure about cable routing.

It there an easy internal route or should I go for external routing with a hand full of cable ties.

I dont want to spend giddy money either so I would welcome some sensible 27.2 mm sugestions.

Thanks in advance.

I put a Brand-X Ascend II on a 2007 Orange P7. Externally routed. Simple and cheap. You'll need the paddle-style trigger too, which the 27.2 came with anyway.

Brand X Ascend here too on my 2010 Lapierre. Not silly money. Works.

I have an unused BNIB Brand X Ascend 11 external route dropper that I bought for a bike and never used if you want to go that route and save yourself a few squids.

27.2mm, 105mm, 390mm.

Thanks bonzodog for the offer, however I did an Estrella induced purchase last night and picked up a new TranzX 110 / 390 for £75 quid

The reviews say it’s similar to the Brand x so we will see how it goes ( pics to follow when it lands )
