People keep asking me what I want for Christmas but I don't know.

Any ideas, probably cycling related and up to about £50.

Cheers.

See, this is my problem. I fancied some pedals, saw the ultegra 6800 at Merlin so bought them. I'm not much of a drinker. £50 worth of toffee apple cider would last me more than a year.

Lego is cool but I gave all mine away a while back. Then storage is an issue.

Humm...

Posh rotors.
A stem.
Some grips and some new gloves.
Helmet if yours is getting smelly!
Any tools you fancy that you would not normally just go and buy?
Waterproof shorts

Thats all I can come up with after work today!!

Magazine subscription or BC/CTC membership? That'll be what I ask for, third party insurance and legal cover is the main reason.

Bit boring but I generally just buy whatever I need when I need it too.

What else are you into, other than bikes?

I, among others, have suggested before to similar birthday, anniversary, Xmas requests that if you are fortunate enough to not need or want for anything in particular for a given budget.... Nominate a cause or charity that means something to you and ask that money is donated.

Peace, love and joy and all that.

Let us know how the, er, training goes.

You don't have to have anything do you? I don't need or want anything at the moment so I have asked people not to get me things. The wife, the in laws and a nice turkey dinner is all I need this year.

Always end up with the same dilemma. This year I ended up with new shorts and a new jacket but only because I haven't been able to ride properly for a while so could wait.

How about a falconry day?

Perhaps one of these? The reviews are worth a read if you're not convinced. 😆

Reading this in the hope of some inspiration but nothing yet. Last year I got a contribution towards a Reverb but this year I am struggling.I buy whiskey myself, although a bottle is never wasted. I have got all the clothing I need but probably not all that I want. Books? Yes but the wife finds my interest in military history depressing. Think I'll stick to a range of whiskeys, at least I know they will get 'used'.

chip:

Those adult stabilisers only do up to 26" wheel size? 🙄

Surely no-one rides 26" nowadays?

Get with it Amazon!

Won't be buying those.

Well my list reads mostly of those things I already have but are well used and in need of a refresh;

Camelbak to replace my years old mule
Troy Lee Xc gloves
Leatt knee pads
Wind cheater jacket
A pair of those fake Oakleys of eBay with changeable lenses

The boy has been challanged with getting me superman pants. For no other reason it made him laugh, though now he's asked for the same and the thought of us both running around annoying mrs Dean in matching pants made me laugh.

shame he's 26*

*not really.
