I was browsing for a GoPro tripod adapter, and having found it out of stock and on delayed delivery in a couple of places I thought I’d just check direct with GoPro – just in case.

Went on their online store, added to cart, select delivery to UK, open next page – nearly fell off chair.

the thing costs £8.99, delivery including VAT was £11

    ELEVEN QUID!

That is 120% of the purchase price… Bonkers!

I had to pay around £11 flat fee to get Canyon to send me a spare gear hanger which i thought was disgusting. Especially as only people who have bought one of their bikes would be buying a hanger anyway. Even from Germany the postage wouldn’t be any more than a fiver, the thing only weighed about 30g ffs! The hanger itself was about £15.

I’m assuming that’s from the US? If so, that is quite far away, yes?

    Just get it from ebay/Amazon/etc.

When I bought my first Gates belt drive from Gates Europe (Nicolai) in Germany, they insisted they could only use UPS next day service.

£30 frikkin’ quid! (which is only a small percentage of a Gatse belt)

My Centretrack setup came from a shop in the states and delivery cost a lot less.
