Toying with using a set of hope bulb 32 hole hubs i have to build into cx disc wheels. What rims are there and what spokes to build a reasonably lightweight set of wheels. Or am i better to flog them and start again with a set of the lightweight hubs off ebay.

I just bought some of the lightweight hubs off ebay (hint, the sokin ones will accept a best offer arround 55-60 quid), you'd easily get that for your bulbs and lose about 300g!
I've just bought some Stans Alphas for my new wheels, but the sidewalls look a bit thin compared to previous mavic/shimano wheels (judgeing by the shallowness of the wear indicator), so I'd go for Open Pro's if you intend to ride in mud.
Open pro's always a good choice. I've been looking at some WTB speed disc cross country rims as a cheap, slightly wider disc specific option for some CX wheels. Not really had any feedback on them though so unsure.
If you use the bulbs check they fit in your cx frame first
I'm a big fan of open pro rims tough light and easy to get
