My sister has asked me to get her Orange p7 powder coated but she is struggling to pick a colour. The problem comes from the anodized gold hope pro2 hubs and other gold anodized bits. In truth she never liked the gold but the deal on the bike was too good to pass up.
The bike is currently orange and looks awful with the gold. She is currently thinking of black but although its very in vogue at the moment and i think it will look good it seems a bit obvious.
Has anyone got any gold anodized parts on their bike they can show us? had a Google but it seems mostly people put them on black bikes.
If it was mine i would probably have a look at some grays, maybe a seal grey.
Thanks
Andy
How about a really deep blue (Pantone 281-ish) as opposed to a Black. That'd look shweeeeeeet!!
Or hows about a British Racing Green?
racing green
deep blue is a good choice.

two good ones we hadn't considered, ill show her them. cheers
Blue and gold is class. Definitely. Clear skies and sunshine.

Can you add metal flake to powder coating?
If you can, the deep blue binners mentions or a rich gloss black, but with a touch of gold flake, might just look amazing, but then again, could look right naff ooorrid too.
This is coming from a colour blind idiot, who thought vomit green would be a nice colour for his ht ๐
I was going to suggest neon orange. How about a nice deep black and have some replacement graphics made up in gold like the black gold Oranges.

Black goes with everything, but it also makes the gold stand out a little too much sometimes - a mate had a black Enduro with gold highlights and the end result resembled something Mr T would hang around his neck.
+1 for blue. Baby blue, sky blue or the particular metallic shade of blue you only used to see on thermos flasks in the early 1980s would be perfect.
Or British Racing Green.
