Evening all, i took the plunge today and put a deposit on a new Orange 5 Pro in Chrome Grey with the Thomson seatpost and stem and Fizik paddle, i am also putting the Hope kit upgrade on it and was wondering what colour u guys thought would look good but not 2 pimp. I am fitting a hope headset and bb 2. I have a set of wheels that im fitting 2 that have gunsmoke hubs, i thought gunsmoke floating rotors and the rest in silver? I like gold but maybe 2 tarty!.
I'm not overly keen on silver myself, if I were you I'd either stick to gunsmoke, or go for black.
keep it gunsmoke, understated but v sweet or some red........
My Yeti 575 has matching hope headset, post clamp and hubs in gunsmoke. Looks great. Not a fan of hope brakes though.
Gold is tarty,but if you like it,it doesn't really matter. I just go for understated stuff...in the hope that it doesn't catch my wife's attention,when she goes into the garage.
not keen on the black. I like a splash of colour on my rides.
ha ha. Very good davey. I think we all tell the odd whopper when it comes 2 the bikes. I have a pixie blue cove handjob with gunsmoke kit so maybe fancy a change. The 5 is coming with hope hoops with black hubs but im swapping them over as i just got heavier duty rims built up on the gunsmoke hubs. I thought blue but maybe wouldn't look right. Decisions Decisions.
I'd probrably go with red on teh hubs hubs and everything else black If you can spec that?
