As in the title really, if you was on a tight budget and looking at 2nd hand big travel forks what would you look for..

so far Marz Junior T are on the list but what else should i look at in the £100-150 price range?

Unless your frame needs it look at less better quality travel? Other than that dont get a jr T...horrible forks! I would look at a 66 or a 150mm z1.

RS Domains. Pick them up for about £150 with motion control damping and U-turn in 160mm or without U-turn in 180mm

Super fork!

RS Domains.

Forgot about them. Good forks, built like a tank too!

This for that Patriot you were asking about? I'm sure Domains would do a splendid job.

A full length pair (180mm) goes great on a longer travel Patriot anyway.

I've just picked up a pair of 318 U-Turn Domain's for £140, hoping they'll be good!

I blame you PeterPoddy after reading your recent spate of threads!

Older style (32mm stanchion) BoXXers FTW!!!

One of the best “fiddlers forks”, ebay/SDH classified are often awash with various examples and plenty of spares, if you like a bit more fit and forget though and don’t mind it being a bit taller A-C then you might find some 05-06 Marz 66’s in your price range…

I assume this is for some sort of DH build…

Thanks for the feedback, yes to go on an 03-04 Patriot thats got 6 inch travel rear, my problem now is the guy selling the Patriot has done a disapearing act...

PP I will hold on to see if the frame materializes and they might be too long.

Van Halen, The same really, but feel free to PM me what you mean by really cheap as on further investigation 150mm is what they sold this particular frame with, rather than the slightly longer forks I was thinking of..

Jr Ts are truley awwwwful.

Second hand, othwerise, low budget = low quality i figure.
any fork of that length at 200 quid ish is gonna be toss.

second hand bombers, of the 2004 2005 era, should last forever, and as long as the stantions are in good nick, a seal and oil change will have them as new again.

Hora thanks for the offer, this thread is pretty old I bought the Manitou flicks off VanHalen and my budget was tiny so not sure your 66's fitted the bill anyhow. But how much out of interest, e-mail in profile.

Maybe they would suit jimjimthehumanbin, but if he is looking at RS 151's I would think he doing a slightly retro DH build..
