I had a quick search and couldn't find this one asked.
The commuter is using a pair of BB5 brakes, and it's time to replace the brake pads (especially on the front). But as this bike is used 80%+ on road, I have no idea what type of pads to go for? sintered?, Organic?, or anything in between?
Or is it a case of it shouldn't really matter, they aren't great brakes anyway...

I'd probably go organic for maximum power, better insulating, and you're unlikely to have issues with rapid wear from mud.

I use SS kevlar on both roadies. Quiet, good feel, good wear, cheap.
